Hey guys, I need to get some new tires, you guys that are running 225-50-16 tires, what tires do you have that are not performance tires - I need to be able to drive in the rain. All season is fine. What is the treadwear??? I can get the Falken Ziex for very cheap, but the treadwear is only 30K - is this typical for tires that width??? Thanks.
2003 VW GTI 1.8t.. I used to have a 95 Eclipse but well...water sucks.

Goodyear Eagle HP's. Directional tread that funnels water away from the wheel, i know they come in a 205/55/R16, not sure about a 50 tho. They run about $130, and i think treadlife on them is rated at 60k.
