#20764, "whats the difference?"

ok i did a search on this but didnt see anything. anyway, i was looking on www.optauto.com a minute ago at their spring/strut combos for the eclipse and they have two different tokico ones, the hp and the illumina. the hp's are more what im looking to spend on my suspension (400) but i know a lot of people on here are using the illuminas. i just want to know what the difference between the two setups is? if its nothing major then ill go with the hp's. but if the illuminas are really that much better than i guess i could spend the extra 20 emoji

the illuminas are adjustable...but i would say ditch both of those ideas and do what A LOT of people have done. watch ebay for the hp's, i got mine new for 220 shipped, then look for the springs with the drop you want, i chose eibach pros and found them at nopi for 150 new. check out dsmtrader.com or dsmautions.com(i think?) for the springs. good luck dude

the ride is great. it handles great, and doesnt beat the hell out of you to the point where you feel like youre in a soap box derby car. hope that helps

Hp's are Tokicos shocks....Pro Kits are Eibach springs....

If you wanna be slammed don't get pro kits cus they are designed for handling and don't really drop you much. If you want to be slammed but want good springs get Eibach Sportlines.

well i dont want to be slammed cuz the roads here at college and back home kind of suck. i just want a dropped look and some pretty good handling. i know the difference between tokico hp's and eibach pro kits. the other guy who replied had them on his car so when i said id rather get those and the pro kits i meant get them together not instead of.
