Ok, Im am between a few differant pads here and just want to see what evreone else thinks. The axxis metallic brake pads from what I read on many posts squeal for some or produce a lot of dust. I will not get Ebc since I heard the same. So I am left with another option from nopi. They are both performance semi metalic pads one called METAL-LUX the other AUTOSPECIALITY which go for $26.. Is there a big differance between metallic and semi? if so what... And what do you ppl think I should go for>? since I dont want stock pads and need that extra grip when going fast.

The VGX pads that Summit Racing sell are pretty good. I had a set of those and they did not dust real bad at all. However performance pads will squeal sometimes its just a fact. I had EBC's and they ate my rotors up so I will never recommend them at all. The Kevlar pad material is too harsh for street cars in my opinion. My favorite pads to date are the Axxis Metal-Master pads. They performed well cold and hot, and the dust was acceptable. Anyhow the only two pads that I've had good experience with is Axxis and VGX, and the VGX's faded alot sooner than the Axxis pads did though.

Thanks a lot man I appriciate the info, so I guess I will reconsider Axxis.. But can someone also tell me if there is a big differance between semi metallic anc metallic? whats the pros and cons?

Right now i have EBC green stuff and race concepts rotors all gsx with the gsx coversion. TO me the pads work great. my rotor is still fine and i can stop on a dime

I switched from the metal masters due to the squealing, and the tons of dust. I went with the Ceramix from NAPA. Zero dust, quiet, and they last a lot longer. Only downfall is that they are pricey.

anyway I had metal master pads on my fronts b4 I converted to dpcs and they were quite awesome. They more fade resistant than the prevoius pads, they still produced dust but not rediculous amounts. if you see dust your probably not washing your wheels enough they took some time to heat up to normal operating temps, like if it was a COLD day it I would have to drive and stop like maybe like 5 times and they'd be ready for battle. but thats not a bad warm up time, on warmer days they'd warm up faster. I only managed to fade them at a race track (roadcourse) don't left foot braking and they would begin to fade at the end of a spirited mountain run. This was with stock rotors too. So there's my opinion of metal master suigoi!!

I wanna try ebc pads ne1 else try em out, the greenstuff that is. They sell for 80 bux though O_o I got slotted/drilled rotors so they start eating each other haha.

I did not notice any sort of performance advantage with EBC greenstuff compared to the Metal Masters.
