Ok, I def. have two blown rear shocks. I have kyb agx 8 way adjustables back there now...but i don't like. What do you guys have and would you recommend them?


For the shock/strut gurus....is it possible that nopi sent me the kyb agx shocks for the gsx instead of the shocks for the gs? Cause i looked on their site and it shows the 8-way adjustable kyb's as being for the gsx and 4-way adjustable for the rs/gs/gst.

I've got 8-way AGX in the rear and love them. Combined with AGX up front I eliminated most of my understeer and my car handles great.

^^^I never really liked my agx's....i'll be happy to see them go. I ended up getting some tokico illumina

yes, i'm gonna have to vote for tokico. illuminas or blues, both of them are exceptional shocks.

I got the Tokico blues struts and springs and they ride very well. The drop is also very good. I highly recommend them.

My cousin had some tokico blues on his Accord and couple blown within a year, but regardless of it being another car, has anyone had them on for longer than a year? Because I really want to get the spring/struts setup also. They got good deals on ebay!

kyb gr2's i hear are crappy. I have tokico blues, and unless you have a massive drop and are constantly going over bumps. I don't see a reason for them to blow. treat your car right and you['ll be fine. The blues ride VERY NICE for non adjustable shocks. Not too stiff, not too soft. i'll be getting illuminas sometime in the future.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.

i've only had my kyb agx's for like a year...i was finding it very difficult to accept that they had already gone bad...i still don't like them very much though
