I just got new coilovers and I want to install them myself, I already read corbin's wirteup on removing the old spring and strut assembly, but i need to know how to install the coilovers onto my old strut. Could someone help me on that?

1. grab hammer or mallet
2. put strut upside down and whack the perch with hammer until the perch starts coming off
3. do that for all 4
4. put on metal o-ring over strut
5. put on rubber washer
6. slide the coilover cylinder over the strut so it's braced on the metal oring
7. adjust perches so the fronts and rears are even
8. install spring, and top piece
9. install back on the car
10. drive

If you have any more detailed questions I'd answer a little more detailed for ya emoji
