#20404, "Huge Drop, 17"GSX Rims...what size tires?"

Hey guys, i dont have a big pic of my car unless someone can host it for me. But with my stock 16's and 205/55/16's, i have just enough room not to rub the fenders. Now what size tires should i get with the gsx rims? i have two 225/45/17's for the rear, but will they fit on the front or should i go with 225/40's? Any help is appreciated

I think you'll be fine with 225/45's but should they rub, just roll the fenders with a baseball bat. Takes about 10 mins. 45 series sidewall on 17" rims is the correct sidewall profile to keep your speedo accurate.

It pushes up the inner edge of your fender, causing the tire not to rub on it. Usually just the rear you will have to do it too.

I'm also on 18's with 1.8" drop and never had any rubbing problems at all.
