#20222, "Skidpad numbers on modded AWD Laser?"

I was out connecting some apexes in the Laser last night and I wondered what kind of handling numbers this car could produce. Just curious so I could compare. Anyone have any clues? The setup is as follows:

RRE extreme camber plates, RRE hybrid coilovers: Koni infinite adjustable front inserts in RRE shortened struts, KYB AGX 8 ways in the rear, 400lb/in front & 275lb/in rear springs, Suspension Techniques rear sway bar, Energy Suspension bushings, Rota Subzero 17"x7.5" 16lb gunmetal wheels with 235/45 ZR17 Potenza RE730's.

I dont have any strut tower braces, yet. Those come after the big turbo swap, followed by a big brake upgrade. Anyone know where to get a good quality big brake kit?

91 awd: 60-1, 880's, E-Prom, etc.
93 awd: JDM 6 bolt, K&N, full exhaust, Wally 255, otherwise stock.

R.I.P. the original "Factory Freak"
15.5's with short ram and catback only
1996 RS 5-speed

As in skidpad numbers, ya know. .90 G, etc etc. Also, slalom speeds. No one seems to have a guess, so no big deal. I was just curious.

hey yea just some of my input here:

mini coopers with just suspension have pulled .9 g's in the skid pad. the enzo goes about 1.2 g's or something and the s7 can also pull over a g, whoch is freakin amazing.... but with your setup id be willing to be ytou could pull a .9 or so in the pad no doubt

awd with that sick suspension setup you have, yea..... u'd pull some impressive numbers no doubt

i dont remember but i know we wer close to the zo06 at 1.06 or sumtin

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
