#20136, "Adjusting Tokico illuminas with no dial?!?!?!"
Okay guys, I had to unlower my car. Why? 1. Winter is coming and I'm moving to NH. 2. I didn't have a camber kit so it was shredding my tires.
So I traded the back to a guy who bought my friend's GST. Before he sold it he traded me these springs for my stocks. So the new guy wanted the lower ones. He didn't want to deal with removing the springs so we just traded the whole spring/shock combo from vehicle to vehicle
Soooooooooooo....I ended up getting a set of relatively new Tokico Illuminas in the rear and a brand new set of OEM struts up front.
My question is, how the hell do I adjust these? There's no dial on there but the adjuster (little flathead screwdriver thing) is still in there just fine. I can turn it and feel it click into place, but I figured it would only turn five clicks....this thing will just keep turning. So without a dial to know where I am I have no idea what's up. The shocks are hard as hell right now, and I played with them for awhile last night and I couldn't get them softer. Maybe it's turned way past the 5 mark? I don't know....anyone got any ideas?

it just keeps turning on mine- it doesnt stop at the end like at 5 or 1. its 1,2,3,4,5 then back to 1,2,3,4,5. is there a notch on top of your strut where the numbers should be. (if you look closely on top there might be a notch that "holds" the adjuster in place). if there is ill go out and grab my adjuster plate and tell you the number placed near the notch so you can kinda estimate using the notch as a reference point...

If ^^^ doesn't work, let me know when you get up to NH, the1Bill has Illuminas, you can use his cap to figure out the settings. It'll give you an excuse to see his garage and the 2.4 turbo in the works..
