On my passenger side in the rear it squeaks really bad, and when you hit a bump it feels like the rear of the car moves to the right, like it just floats over to the right, then kinda comes back.

I think that the struts are bad b/c they have been on there since '95.

I looked at the spindle, and from that I have a question. Where the spindle connects to the upper control arm, does that have a bushing inside? It looks as if there was a bushing of some kind in there, but there isn't no more, and it has some play in it. Would that be causing it?

yeah there is suppose to be a bushing on the top of the spindle where the bolt goes through and attaches the rear upper control arm. If there is no bushing then I'm not really sure if you could get a replacement bushing or not but you should be able to get a used spindle easily.

you should fix that bushing before something nasty happens, and then if it still squeaks then look into other stuff. But I'm pretty sure the problem is obvious.

Good Luck

If I'm thinking of the same bushing as you guys (the upper rear knuckle) I haven't been able to find just the bushing for sale. The master bushing set from Energy Suspension has them included but they need to be pressed in, or you can get the whole knuckle with the bushing installed from satan for $212. Other than that it's looking for used knuckles. If I'm way off and you guys are talking about a different bushing just smack me!

sup, i know this is a new post to a very old thread but im having the same problem with my 96 talon. Was told the rear bushings were bad, both of them. But EB3 the local shop wants a grand to put it in. Dont want to spend 300 on parts alone for each side, any ideas. hit me up.
