#1967, "Sway Bars Vs Strut Bars"

I need some help guys, I was asked the other day what's the difference between sway bars and strut bars, and I really didn't have a good answer. I know they both help minimize body roll, but are there any real differences, besides where they're located? Help me out guys.

Sway Bars: control the amount of body roll of the car. A stiffer roll bar will keep the boddy from rolling which keeps more of the tires contact patch in contact with the road. Less weight transfer side to side lets you keep a higher speed through a turn. Allows all fours wheels to grip more as opposed to letting the outside wheels from doing more of the work.

Strut Tower Braces/Tie Bars: Tie the top of the shock tower or bottom of the control arms together. This holds the shick towers fron flexing side to side in a turn. Keeping the tire in contact with the road more, and keeps the tires contact patches even from side to side.

Which should you get? Both emoji
