#19578, "Drums to disk Question."

Right now i have Xdrilled/Slotted rotors on the front and drums in the rear. Im planning on changing to GSX calipers and AEM big rotor conversion in the front, is it possible to take the stock front rotors and move them to the rear?(with the rear bracket or something?)

no you can't do that because the rear rotors are drastically different. The rear disc brakes are actually 2 brakes in one a disc brake and a parking drum. The drum bites into the rotors drum surface.

but... if you wanted to do a CUSTOM setup you could get some rear rotors from some junked car and hope the hub bolts up like maybe a 1G maybe then take off your parkin brake line on and put them on a traditional disc brake that uses the brake pads for parkin brake. Just have to find on that fits the front rotors. emoji
