I have a 97 GS and I was wondering if the GST sway bar is thicker than the GS sway bar. If it is I want to put one on my car. This would help my car out handling wise right? I am suspension ignorant....LOL

I just put one on my car from a 96 GS-T. It is thicker, and does help with handling, but there are some things you need to do first... The rubber bushings and metal brackets that come with our stock sway bar are too small in diameter to fit around the thicker bar, so you need to order new bushings from Satan. I have it on my car right now with the stock bushings until the new ones arrive, and the bracket behind the muffler is not on all the way. This is causing the exhaust piping right before the muffler to hit the bar whenever I hit the gas. Just something to think about. I can get the parts numbers for you for the bushings if you want.

"SATAN" is the term used to describe the evil mitsu dealers. The dealerships are hard to deal with and they charge an arm and a leg for everything so we call them satan.
