How do I get that bolt MARKED 1 out ? I can't get a open wrench or a ratchet in there. tia

Sorry for the bad pic it was late at night and my camera is pos. Ok its the bolt on the bottem of the shock. It connects the shock to the fork. I have done it on my car before but for some reason I cant get this off my friends car.

you got the nut off the bolt right? if all you're trying to do is get that out of the strut assembly thing, try jacking up the lower control arm to relieve some of the stress on the bolt and then you should be able to get it out. just an idea.

If you haven't tried this already, remove the swaybar endlink and use a ratchet with a small extension about 3 inches or so to clear the fork. Just a suggestion.
