#19226, "Need Help with vibration/shimmering when braking"

When I hit the brake the car starts to vibrate severely, almost feels like the car is going to fall apart. I don’t think it’s the brakes but could be. and when I hit the brakes the pedal goes in and out like a pumping action. and when I'm just driving there is NO vibration what so ever. Please help I cant even drive my car like this.

Sounds like rotors (prob fronts) to me. Check to see that you haven't lost any wheel weights recently, but I'm betting rotors.

99% sure it's warped rotors. Stock 2gnt's are notorious for warping rotors due to the fact that we're so heavy and have such a small rotor. Do the GSX caliper conversion, and you will virtually elimante the problem. I went through three sets of "small" rotors before I learned that lesson.

I will agree with the warped rotors. I would suggest a good set of powerSLOTs. They are affordable and good breaking for the price.
