im installing my suspension and the bottom bolt in this picture on my drivers side will not move. Is there some technique i can do to get this out? Its stiff and will not move, also when i go to turn the bolt, the whole joint that its running through moves with it and doesnt allow it to turn that much.

I had the same problem. I used 2 1/2" breaker bars to get it off. I ended up ruining the threads of the bolt and having to get a new one.

There's a nut on the other side you gotta hold. Either way, expect your suspension to hand your ass to you on a silver platter.

Took myself, Frank (Bucknutty) Matt (his friend) and Bill (The1Bill) from 1 AM until 4 PM, non stop, working our asses off the whole time. My suspension was stock 95...the rusted bolts were the biggest issue. I put in Tein Super Streets and it's worth it...but damn did that job suck. Email me if you need any help. Good luck emoji

ok

there is no nut on the end of that. the bolt goes into thread. its a 17 mm bolthead. iff you need to maybe grind it the hell of, and buy a set with a bolt and a nut and stick it through there.

your thinking of the upper lower mount bolt. The bottom lower mount bolt has a nut on the other side of it. As you can see in the picture, and as i stated, its the lower bolt. That is the one taht i cant get out and when i twist it, the whole joint moves with it. Does anyone know what size this bolt is so if i mangle it, i can get a replace.

oh my bad. ok heres ya answer you want.
dont worry about that bolt
just get the bolt on the strut off and then lossen the control arms. they are i think 17mm bolts that at in the engine bay. 2 of them. right next to the top of the strut in the engine bay. lossen them and hit them down, and then pull out the control arm. afer that just pull down the suspention and get the strut assembly out. and leave the fork thing attatched. have fun. msg me on aol for more info if needed (geespoof).
