#19086, "Center cap won't fit with new wheels (pic)"

When I installed my new wheels, I noticed that the front center caps were popped out as I was bolting them in. It appears the driveshaft nut and bolt stick out too far. Any ideas how to fix this??

Here's a pic:

Yeah, that was my first thought... but I'm gonna need a seriously large spacer to clear the center cap, the bolt is like 1/2" too far out. And that's certainly no good... since these wheels are already +38mm offset, the tires stick out far enough like a mofo!

EDIT: I'm thinking about grinding the bolt and getting a thinner nut on there as a last resort. Any opinions or other ideas?

because of that 38 offset.. this was bound to happen... i wouldnt grind the nut because that is an important part of your drivetrain.. i would only say you would need wheel spacers.. which would cause you rims and tires to stick out some from the fenders something you may or may not like.. of you will have to go without the caps.. or devise a way to get the caps to stick out some and yet stay there.. good luck.... and very nice wheels btw..

Another Idea ! you can probably find different caps mines are kind of like a cone so you will have a lot more space , they are like $15 each you can probably find some that fit, OR you can make a hole in the cap so only the head of the screw sticks out ,
