#19057, "How much $$$ for tires?"

Just trying to get an estimate on rims and tires. how much would it cost for a good set of 4 tires, either for 16 inch or 17 inch? I don't want the most expensive tires in the world, but I don't want cheapies either.

If you're not looking for the best racing tire.. and I'd say even the cheapies aren't too bad.. 16-17 inch you are looking to about : $60-$90

I mean you can pay up to $200 for a 16 inch tire I am sure.. but you canget some decent tires around that range. I'd say the best site online is definitely www.tirerack.com. I haven't been there in a while but it's where I last got my tires.

The benefit to going to a store is that they will include mounting and balancing in their fee. They will also most likely include a warranty on the tire. Other than that.. online is probably the best bet. Also.. COSTCO will do mounting and balancing for like $9 a tire or so.. instead of ~35-70 like some places.
