My car was down for a while, while I was working on it, and I got it back together and drove it today. I didn't touch the brakes at all, but now the pedal feels strange. The pedal vibrates, and it feels like I am having some bad brake fade, but this isn't at speeds any higher than 35 mph. Do I need to bleed the lines or something? Why would it do this all of a sudden, if I never touched the brakes? They work fine, but the pedal feels messed up.
Maybe it's just a different feel since I'm used to driving my mom's 1990 honda accord.

try bleeding the brakes. when it sits any small air bubbles in the brake lines will collect and form larger bubbles and will make the pedal feel different.

vibrating pedal is most likey warped rotors.
as for bleeding, the easiest way is those DIY bleeder kits from an autostore. otherwise, you need a second person:
-get dot3 brake fluid -get a couple feet of clear plastic tubing (like whatcha use for aquariums) -use one of those plastic bottled water containers -a wrench for turning the bleeder valve
you will put fresh brake fluid into the resevoir on the firewall (driverside) during the following steps. always make sure that the level of the fluid doesn't get below the minimum level in that resevoir, or you'll risk getting air into the lines which you will have to bleed out. also keep the cap on the resevoir and fluid container, as brake fluid is very hydrophilic.
what you need to do is located the bleeder valve, which is on top of the caliper. loosen it with a wrench (don't take it off). put the tube on to the valve and the other tube end into the plastic bottle.
have a second person push slowly down on the brake, and you will see fluid go through the tube into your bottle. when they have pushed the peddle all the way down, tighten the bleeder valve, and have them slowly release.
repeat the above a number of times until you see new fluid come out of the bleeder valve.
ps - don't get brake fluid on the paint. I'm always very careful when I use brake fluid to stay away from the car panels!!!

but you said its usually from warped rotors. this just happened since the last time I drove my car. it was fine one time, and now it's not. I can also hear rubbing coming from the front right side, like the brake pad is rubbing on the rotor. this would also lead me to believe that I have a warped rotor. but it was fine the last time I drove it. could my wheel not be on straight or something? i dunno, it just seems wierd that it would happen all of a sudden. how hard is it to replace the rotor?

I'ld say warped rotor.. ya know they rust after sitting for a while. You may not be supprised to see your brake caliper sceized if it has been sitting for more than a couple of weeks.. It happens.
