#18884, "installing coilovers."

my shocks blew, so when my coilovers were taken off, i lost 2 of the metal plates that sit on top of the coilover. my question is, do i need those to re-install my coilovers, or can i install them without them.

i'm tired of seeing that stupid fender gap, and don't have the money for new springs.

I think if you don't have thoes plates in there you will hear metal on metal and may even fuck up the coilovers or worse. Just make some rings to put around there with some metal. Well thats what I'd do.
