The 712s are MUCH better than the 711s. The 711s are more an economy tire than a performance tire.

My friend has kumho's (not sure what one) on his neon and he drives kinda aggressively and his tires are almost gone after only 12,000 mi. They look like performance tires and they are low pro's if that helps any.

Kumhos are more of an economical tire no matter which style it is. But the 712s are high performance while the 711s would be put on a hyundai or something. They're not that bad of a tire but dont expect to get more than 20k out of them.

LOL! I don't have thoes shitty things on my hyundai. I got bridgestone emoji.

EDIT:
Though my accent came with kumho's. Those were the shittiest tires I have ever had. The rims for the Eclipse came with kumho's, but once they are gone, were gonna go and get some Nitto or Yokohoma's.

Definately the 712's, not only do they handle better, they look better. I have had both on my car and I definately like the 712's better. I think the design of the tread allows for better wet surface driving too...I think I read this somewhere but cant remember where...good luc emoji -anna

I've driven with 712s on other people cars and they really do stick well, they're like the best cost to performance tire. They also last pretty long too. You can tell they're hella good just by pressing on the tire the compound is hella soft, meaning they grippie very well. My friend had some on del sol and it was an auto and he didn't know how to take corners very well. BUt he drove it just like a go kart he'd be taking these turns with bad form but those kumho's wouldn't let go.

THe next best cost to performance tire I could think of are falken azenis. These have a beautiful tread too but they wear out pretty fast but they're pretty much SEMI-RACE compound already. They have poor wetweather traction also.

I've driven a car with 711s and they're nothing special, they make a decent econo tire they grip pretty well for their class but they don't match up to the 712s in performance.

I have 711's on my car. on my second set right now actually, and i like them a lot. of course they arent a "track/race" tire, but who the hell needs that to drive to and from everyday? they ride quietly, i got 35k miles out of my last set, and you can get em for about 60 bucks a piece from TireRack. for high performance, ill throw on the stockers that are wrapped in Falken Azenis. the 711's are great for what they are designed for...everyday driving.
