Ok, I want to put a air ride on my car for several reasons...one being shitty roads around where i live, the other for those damn driveways that have the extreme bump roll thing at the ends...I have freinds and family that i would never be able to go visit in my car if it was lowered...but the question i have is would it be safe enough to race on air ride suspension? (air-struts...not bags)

And we're very , very pissed off"

I was also wanting to know about this, I live in Middleburg, and the roads here suck, 75% of them are dirt.

this makes 3 of us. Are air cylinders/bags gonna handle like ass? I heard bags shift all around. Cylinders would be ok tho right? I need air ride badly to be able to drive. I dunno shit about it tho. The price, what I need, driveability, etc. emoji

theres only one problem with air rods. They are fine for drag racing. but the shafts will bend if they are put under high stress of road racing or auto cross. i had them on my *cough *cough civic *cough *cough... (i know dont make fun of me we all go thru that stage once in out life. but ok back to the topic. I bent ono of the rods while auto crossing and had to replace it. Once they are bent they wont go up or down anymore. so if you plan on road racing with them i would make the suspension as rigid as possible ( strut bars, lower tie bars, bigger sway bars... and anything else that would help). I hope this gives you an idea of what your looking at with air ride. i love it and im in the process of fabrication custom mounts for them for my car now so i can lay the body on the ground.

they ride really good. smooth and they take really hard bumps in the road and you hardly notice you hit one. as for cornering you can still corner if you have the correct setup as in braces and strut bars. you just dont want the bottom of the air ride to flex too far away from the top. That when things start to break. i put in strut tower bars, lower tie bars, and bigger sway bars and that helped out 200% i still road raced with them after that and never replaced another one. Youll need good sway bars anyways to keep the body roll to a minimun with the air rods.
