BACKGROUND INFO: I'm turning my baby back into a street car from a strip-only car. I've only put 49 miles on it within the last 12 months. During that time, I rebuilt the entire engine and suspension. The main front suspension crossmember was replaced because it was bent and a set of H&R Race Springs went on with Tokico Blue struts. I also added front & rear strut tower bars and Ingall's exteme camber kit. She sits about an inch off the ground and is in perfect alignment. I have no power steering.
PROBLEM: When the front suspension compresses or expands (bumps or braking), it creeks and moans like hell. The sound seems to be coming from around the floorboards while I'm in the car.

bizzump... think a missing crossmember bolt could cause it? It seems to only be on the passenger side and I now recall leaving a bolt out. Guess I'll give that a try.

All control arms/ball joints/etc. have been replaced. That was actually my first thought... I can now tell that it's coming for the passenger-side only when I brake or accelerate. Any other ideas?

Possibly your camber kit hitting the inside of the fender? I have the same noice coming from my front right. I believe it is the camber anchor bolt rubbing on the inside of the fender. Just a thought.

my suspention creaks too. i have the blues as well. the loudness of the creaking depends on the outside tempature and how long i've been driving the car for. it's pretty weird.
i just had some suspention bushings replaced and my ball joints have had the recall peformed on them. for now i just deal with it. someday, i'll get the real 2G coilovers from Mach V.

Check to make sure the bolts that attach sub-frame to the bottom of the car are nice and tight. Mine were loose and were making a squeeking/creeking sound whenever I hit the breaks and accelerated from a stop.
