#18483, "rear disc conversion part question"

I'm getting a 95 ESi parts car this week some time and will be swapping in it's rear discs to my car. Are the rear discs from a 95 the same as those on a 97? That is; when I go to buy new discs, do I order 95 ESi rears or can I just order 97s like any other part on the car? TIA! emoji

The 95 to 97 swap should work. I haven't heard of anyone saying that the parts dont fit. As far as the GSX swap, theres a post right above this post thats pinned that would probably have all the answers you need.

They're not bigger. All rear 2g DSM brakes are the same (again, save for the early, early 95 GSX's).

I have GSX rear calipers, when I did my conversion drum-to-disk, and bought "ESi" rotors. They're all the same.

Yes you can, as far as rear disks go, all second generation rear disks are the same, save for some very early 95(made in 94) GSX's that had vented rear disks. They are NOT compatible.
