I know these are both low-brand tires, but I was told that Nankang is made by Yokohama. Also, I work at a Ford dealership and I've seen Hankook donut spare tires Which of these two is the lesser of both evils??? Leaning towards Nankang...

I have had 2 sets of Nankang N-1s and I think for the price they are a good tire. By no means the best you can get, but they are ok. Handling is better than stock tires, wear is excellent for a performance tire, as long as your camber is right, but that will eat any tire. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they are not rated for snow driving for a reason. If it snows alot where you live, you may want to look into something better. They are ok in the rain, again I would say they are better than stock. Sorry it got so long..

I had some Hankooks on my 1G about ...lol....ten years ago. I had to say they were pretty impressive compared to some Dunlops I had b4 that. That was a long time ago but I would buy another set of Hankooks though I'm currently hooked on Yokohamas.
