Does anyone happen to know the proper way to get the rear rotors off my my eclipse??? am i suppossed to smack the crap out of them like when you do the front rotors?? I am kind of worried because I know the parking brake is located inside the center of the disc itself...Anyone have any clue or have a good writeup or something??? I did a search but couldnt find any exact directions...Thanks guys...

Try vfaq.com There's a nice technique that I just used to remove my brother's front rotors, and my own front rotors to do my GSX swap. Came off easy that way.

so taking the rear brake rotors requires the exact same method as the fronts? ive done the front before but i figured the rears might be different due to the parking brakeinside the rotor....thanksg uys

anyway the best PROPER way to get them off is to thread a bolt into the bolt hole on the disc. You screw it in until you hear a loud CLANG. What it does is the bolt pushes against the hub and pushes the rotor.

^ yes. And please make sure yoru parking brake is off. If needed there is a star wheel for adjustment on the parking brake shoes, you can detansion it if needed.
And sometimes the rotor is too rusted and the bolt stripes out the rust in the rotor and can'tget enough force against the HUB.
like i mentioned...i know how to take them off for the front i just wanted to make sure it was the same for the rear....thanks.
