Hey all, I need to rubber for this year. I can get a set of 235/45/17 Toyos cheap but I don't know if there going to be to wide. Anyone know if they will work. Thanks

Dood....your "after" pic isn't loading up on my computer but if your car is slammed like the "before" pic- I think it's gonna rub like hell.

I had 235/45/17 before and they were heavy. Really slowed my car down.

the before and after pics are chopped. the suspension is chopped and the after pic had a targa top chopped

People have had 235 on 18's before. If you are going with them on 17's I would sya you are probably better off looking for a 40 series tire.

i've got 225/50/16 and they barely clear. my car is dropped but not slammed like that. must be a mission to drive it

i noticed a diff from the 195/70/14's i had before. mainly that i was quicker with them but had like 0 traction (including 0 traction for turning and braking which are important to me cuz they keep me alive). 235's will be good if you buy good tires but i'm not sure if they'll fit or not. you can get spacers but then your wheels stick out from your car (which doesn't look real good on an eclipse and increases drag, if you care about that).

You'll have no problems what-so-ever with that size. Even lowered, all i had to do was roll the rear fenders.

Yeah I thre them on today!! I love it. The car in the pics was stolen a few mounths back and now I have another 99 GS just like it. And Yes the picture was chopped.

I had toyos but they are POS All my tires cracked not even a year after a bought them
