Im not sure if any of you guys have the same prob I do, but every time i pull into my buddies driveway my rear coilovers make a loud clunk. His driveway is quite a steep uphill so I have to come in at an angle so my front bumper doesnt scrape. Any ideas where the clunk is coming from? It always comes from the side that im turning (If im turning right its the right one, Turning left the left one does it) Any ideas?? Am I gonna hurt anything?

What type of coilovers are you using





Performance: Stuff that makes my car run better or go faster

Looks: Stock because looks doesnt make my car go faster or run better

Weight Reduction: CF Hood, No A/C or Powersteering Accessories, No rear interior

I've had this happened a couple of times. It means you've exceeded the no-load length of the coilover spring. In other words that corner of the car goes up so high that the spring is not only unloaded, but actually seperated from the coilover sleeve. When the corner of the car goes down, the spring comes back down and makes a "clank" when it hits the sleeve. It most likely won't hurt anything as long as you take it slowly.

Mannyyy-duh im dumb i didnt even think about that... LOL anyway... I think thats whats happening because when i pull into his driveway that side of my car is totally unloaded. Theyre Skunk2's by the way...
