what's the cheapest/easiest/safest way to lower a car. I want to drop my car if I get new rims. How? How much? Is it hard?

Springs alone will effectively lower your car, but you blow out the struts fairly quickly. It's best to do springs/struts/camber kits. Expect to spend $740 ( springs: $190 / struts: $300 / camber kits: $200 / alignment $50 ) if you do the work yourself.

get some coilover from e-bay. are they safe? maybe. are they easy, yes! or get some lowering springs. little more in price, but they ride GOOD!!

so, I go for lowering springs because they ride better in my opinion. it's really not that hard installing them on. I can change out my whole suspension set up in 2 hours now. And remember, if you live in REDNECKVILLE (TN) like me where there are BIG ASS bumps everywhere...its better to have lowering springs that doesn't lower the car too much. I learned that the hard way. I used to have lowering springs and was dropped about 3.5inches. it looked good, but scrapped everywhere. I got stuck on speed bumps many times.lol

if you're going body kit, its safer to have the pro-kits. because even with prokits with my blitz...i can't go to mcdonals so imagine if you had coilover or sportline...
