I was looking through ebay and came to one of these items:

95-99 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE REAR LOWER TIE BAR

I have a front and rear tower strut and it seems to be doing okay (not a huge diff. of course but good enough). When I came upon this strut I was debating whether I should get it or not. Do anybody have them installed in your car? Let me know what you think, thanks.

Any support back there is better than none. Go for it.

When the first company finally came out with the rear lower for us they were $55 or so for a pilot motorsports bar.

Here's the one I had.

As you can see the stupid allen bolts that cheap strut bars come with suck, One was seized when I got it and the other broke but I replace all the Strut bar bolts with Grade 8 or better bolts anyways.

I got one from MACH V, and it seemed to stiffen things up a bit, especially with my lack of a rear sway bar (the source of all evil handling looseness).

i agree plus he makes them himself so you're supporting a 2gnt'er. in general the stiffer the better for rear bars. front bars aren't really needed. a front bar is going to cause understeer. not something needed on a FWD car. try stiffening up the rear first and see how you like it.
