I have coilovers on my car right now and im sick and tired of bumpy ride..Which springs do you guys think i should get i want about 2" of drop on my car...Thanks also how much and where to get em..I see a lot of people have eibach sportlines are they worth changing em out..

eibachs are good. others are goldlines, h&r race srpings, sprint, and then you got coil overs. just some suggestions.

I vouch for my goldlines. The 2'' drop is real nice. Ride quality is close to stock and they are real cheap at around $120 for a set shipped from eBay. They also have a lifetime no sag warrantee.

Hey woo2, are the goldlines really pretty close to a 2" drop? Or are they a little more or a little less? Also, did they throw your camber off very bad? I was thinking about getting them, but I would rather not buy a camber kit right now. TIA

I wouldn't get sportlines....they'll give you a harsh ride(in my opinion)...that's why i switched to the prokit.

And I just switched from the Pro-Kits to the H&R OE Sport springs tow days ago. I had the Pro-Kits on my car for over 4 years. The drivers side started to sag to where it was visible.

My impressions on the H&Rs are that they are slightly stiffer than the ProKits but actually give a better overall ride. I suppose it helps that I have Koni adjustables on the car too.

Obviously, the drop isn't nearly as much as you may be looking for, but overall performance is probably going to be better.

The goldline drop looked exactly like I hoped. The wheel gap in the front was pretty much non-existent, (could barely fit my hand in) and the wheel gap in the back was about 1 inch, (could fit one hand in fine).

I cannot tell exactly how much camber is off. The front looked fine imo. The back is crooked as an arrow tho and I need to do the $15 rear camber mod which will fix it up real nice.

I'd be able to tell you exactly how much my camber was off but .. heh .. my car got totalled on the way to get my alignment.

I loved the drop though, was so perfect for my area. Real nice ride and excellent handling. For the price, I highly recommend them. Also, most of my friends w/ tegs and civics have coilovers for their drop and their ride quality sucks ass.

The drop on goldlines was a little less than 2". H&R race springs are support to drop 2" but are considerable more.

it depends on what you're goal is. if you want looks first go with the pro kits or gold lines. if performance is your perogative than go H&R. the increased stiffness of the H&R's is about what you would need to makeup for the considerable drop.

what i would do is get tokico illuminas or koni adjustables. than after that i'd get the H&R's and then adjust the struts to be a bit softer. the softer struts should balance out the stiffness of the spring depending on exactly how soft they're set. i'm performance minded though. or i'd look for something with a less aggressive drop as our cars control arms are parallel to the frame at stock height with 16's so they don'e really need a drop unless you throw larger wheels on.
