No, the GST calipers are the same as ours. All the 2g FWDs share the same front calipers.

Except for the spyder maybe. I have no idea what is on the front of the spyders.

one more thing, the fwd eclipse's all have single piston calipers all the way around(excluding rs). the gsx's have dual piston calipers on the front. so they make for a nice upgrade.

Can you run gsx calipes on 16's? i heard you have to have 17's but my right caliper is almost shot n this would be a good time to upgrade to the GSX dpc's.

well the gsx comes with 16's so... yea. you need 17's if you get GSX calipers and swap in oversized rotors like mine. i've got 12.5" aem crossdrilled/slotted rotors and gsx calipers. they fill up my 17's very nicely. the aem kit moves the gsx calipers further out to fit the bigger rotors. thus the need for 17's. w/ the caliper mounted on the stock brackes there's more than enough space if you have 16's.

You can use the GSX calipers and GSX stock rotors with 16s. Any larger rotor and you will want a larger size.

Say you upgrade to GSX caliprs in the front...could you mount stock GS/RS fronts onto the back to upgrade those? Just wondering...any thoughts?

i really don't think so... there's the whole parking brake assembly in the rear. plus the rotors are a different size from the fronts. the front and rear calipers on the RS/GS/GST are all single piston (with the exception of the RS having drums in the rear) so i don't think it'd really make a difference even if you did get it to work. the only thing you can do for the rear besides swapping in discs if you don't have them is upgrading rotors/pads.
