I just got new 17 inch rims with 215/45/17 tires. I've never had 17's before so this may seem like a dumb question but I wanna know what's the right amount of air to keep them at? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

well people put extra psi in their low profile tires just to be safe, like if they hit a pot hole or something. for ex, the stock psi's are 32 front 29 rear. but when I put on 17's I upped it to 35 fron 32 rear. there really isn't any science to this - just don't inflate to the maximum psi put on the tires (if you didn't know that already)

dont put anymore then 40psi in your tires otherwise they with start to go round and wear the center of the tire faster...
32psi for both is what 99% of tire shops will air them too...
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
