#16474, "ractive strut bars"

anyone tried the Ractive front strut bars on nopi? just wonderin how they were. are all strut bars adjustable? any suggestions on anywhere else to look? i know there's been a lot of debate over the actual benefit of a strut bar... it'd be nice if it helps some. i kinda want one that looks nice too though. but i don't plan on buying those expensive ones either. the Ractive ones on nopi were like 30 something i think. i'm ordering bumper markers from them anyways so i thought maybe i'd toss in a strut bar while i'm at it. any info would be appreciated. thanks!

One of the guys at Versus Motorsports here in Phoenix was a Toucan Industires whore a while back and got all kinds of free loot when he made his first large wholesale order or something. HE said that he had seen a Civic lifted by the STB with a crane and the DC (brand STB) snapped, whereas the Ractive held like it was nothing. He swore by it.
As far as whether or not an STB is worth it, it depends. If you have upgraded suspension components and wheels, you might REALLY notice something, then again, maybe you won't. Either way, seems like it's one of the first mods everyone does. You have nothing to lose but $40 and easy access to your oil cap. emoji

wow cool. ya sounds like a pretty good deal. i'm gonna drop my car eventually. the only suspension stuff i've got so far would be my rims. i think the ractive bars look a lot nicer than the ebay bars too.
