#1595, "Prokit on stock struts?"

Anyone with Prokit springs on OEM struts? Or HAD? How's the ride, any stiffer? I've seen pics, but it is noticeable lower? And is it my understanding that a REAR camber kit is basically NECESSARY with any amount of lowering?

I can get the springs installed for $60, can I install the $40 camber kit from RRE myself? How hard, what is involved in the install?

You should probably use the "search" option as I know I've already posted on the RRE camber kit myself.

You can do it yourself. Really easy. Takes half hour tops.

Take your rear wheels off. You should see four bolts holding on some of your wheel assembly in your wheel well. (you can't miss em) Back em out. Install the RRE longer bolts and supplied washers. Re-assemble.

Really easy.

Not recommended to using stock struts. But you can do so and it should last your anywhere from 6 mos to a year. (I'm approximating based on others' experiences) After that, your struts may give out or totally lose their effectiveness.

Ride quality is stiff, sporty, and responsive.
