I just got my Ractive strut tower bars today and the rear one went in fine but the front one won't fit unless the bar is set diagonally. Is that how the Ractive bars are supposed to fit on the car? The circular brace things are exactly the same too. It doesn't seem like one was made for one strut tower, they're just identical.

Performance: Stuff that makes my car run better or go faster

Looks: Stock because looks doesnt make my car go faster or run better

Weight Reduction: CF Hood, No A/C or Powersteering Accessories, No rear interior

Turn the bar the opposite way...so take the right side to the left side and the left side to the right side

I'm not sure what you mean. Taking the bar itself and flipping it still leaves me with the problem that the two circular pieces don't fit to the strut towers with the bar attachment slots on the same side.

you may have gotten a bar with the same ends on it...

bar should be like, if you will, 0--0, but there are peices taht the bar connects to on the inside... this is on either the sid closer to the driver, or the side closer to the bumper... i think what you are describing something like on one side, the bar connex to the dr side, and on the other side, it connex to the end closer to the bumper..

this would leave me to beleive you have gotten a bar w/the same ends on it....

i would look at it very carefully tho, and see if you can get it to fit... or just send the shit back, and get a new one....

call em, and they may give you a shipping acct#, or take care of shippin since they F*d up

good luck

also, the bar can go either way, over the intake mani, or over the valve cover/oil cap....

I'm thinking I do have the right circular braces because the notches cut out of them are different. One has more of a rectangular shape cut out around the outside of it an one has more of a half circle. So they look different, they just don't fit on the bolts in a way that the bar lines up directly across, only diagonally like I said.
