#15865, "Front tires still humming....hot rubber smell"

I had the front passenger side wheel bearing hub assembly replaced yesterday and the humming noise has been -reduced- but not eliminated (see earlier post about front tires humming). I noticed a hot rubber smell after stopping but after inspecting the tires, I didnt find any signs of rubbing or unusual tread wear so I'm guessing the smell is coming from the engine area. Tread seems to be fine on all tires. The humming is definitely coming from the front and is very similiar to the sound of knobby tires on the road. It increases/decreases with speed. A more -positive- feel in the steering wheel occurs when I turn the wheel to the right but goes away when the wheel is straight. The humming is constant whether the wheel is straight or turned. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

only replaced the passenger side. hub assembly was $183.12 from satan and had it replaced at a non-satan shop for $35. i kind of had a feeling the other one was bad too. i guess i'll have to fork out another $230 since it will only get worse.
