Well I had the BAER Track kit. 13 inch rotors, and 2 pot calipers. Cost is around 800. I loved it. I dont like AEM because I had them about 3 months and they were warped beyond repair. I like BAER. and if you can afford it....get Brembos. They are the best.

What pads did you use with the aem kit and did you ever talk to aem about the problem??

Stock pads for a while. Then I started to get terrible vibration and pulsating. Changed to Axxis pads to see if the stock pads were the culprit. That didnt fix it. I talked to AEM about it, they blamed the car. I bought the BAER track kit after that. They went a year and a half before needing the rotors machined. I miss having those kind of brakes... emoji

Isn't a year and a half still a short time to need the rotors machined?

Not when you use them for what they are meant for.
