Ok so I get in my car and when I am turning at low speeds it sounds like the springs of an old mattress, you know the kind of grind/squeek noise. So I am thinking the spring is trashed. I haven't been able to check it out since everytime I am done with work it is dark. So can someone else verify that I blew a spring. If I did should I look into getting 1 new spring or getting 4 new ones. BTW stock springs, 113 thousand miles on our wonderful pennsylvania roads.

I think you are thinking of your struts. It is impossible to blow a spring, they might sag a little bit as they get older. You will want to get 4 new struts, because if one strut is blown the others probably aren't far behind.
There are plenty of people on here with stock springs they will sell you for cheap if that is really the problem (including me) but I just don't think thats what it is.

You can blow a strut anytime, you just have to hit a bump just right and its gone. The reason we say you can't blow a spring is because it is just that, a big metal spring. I guess you could break it, but ive never heard of that happening.
