#14799, "page about recall"

well tonight I was pulling in my alley to my house and suddenly I hear a god awful scrape and I stop, well the ball joint just seperated, its still bolted on, just not attachted the the arm, so I just had to pay 40 bucks to have my car moved 10 feet to the driveway untill I call mitsu tomarrow and see if they want me to do with it. They should have to pay to have it toe there right?? and should they have to pay for the toeing I just had done??? Any help is appreciated.

i don't think they would be legally obligated to pay for it. isn't it considered a voluntary recall? which means that they were not forced to recall it by law. anyways whatever you do don't tell them it was ten feet, cause they will argue that u shoulda just pushed it.

well it'll have to be towed to a dealership too, and the closest mitsu dealership is about 40 miles away and I have never gotten anything from them about a recall, and most people on you that you read about that it has actually broke on them and cause damaged to their car they have gotten it fixed for free

Mitsu HAS TO FIX IT!!! It's recalled because if you were going 75mph on the freeway and you hit a bump, and that happens... Well, you know what I mean. I'm not sure about the towing, but check your insurance, see if your covered under towing. Or you could call your dealership and see if they will be KIND enough to do that. Sometimes they are nice and do stuff like that. But good luck!!!

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know emoji Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...
