#14599, "Is this supposed to move...?"

When I grab my front passenger side rotor and lift, the whole suspension lifts with it except for the lower lat arm. The arm just stays where it was. I tightened the bolt to the 51 lbs advised in Chilton and then some.
I'm tring to fing a loud "clunk" when I brake and accelerate hard and Im wondering if this could be it. I checked old threads that said it may be the motor mount and its not. A little advise would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanx

Actually, did you do your lower lateral arm ball joint recall? That keeps on popping up (and making that ball joint pop out). This is a very dangerous problem, and can result in the collapse of the suspension on that side. If you have not had this recall performed by a certified Mitsu tech, do it immediately!

"Actually, did you do your lower lateral arm ball joint
recall?"

The lat arm has been replaced already about a year ago because of a little incident with a curb. The arm came from a junkyard so I dont know if the car before me had the recall done. I may got to the dealership and have them do it just to make sure. It would REALLY suck if my suspension gave out on me while driving. Thanks for the help guys!
