I have these stock eclipse rims, the 16". When I go to get tires I say "cheapest tires please, size 205/55/16". So I was wondering.... Is this the only tire size that will fit my rims? Or... Can different sizes from this fit my rims, that would be even cheaper? Do you get what Im saying? They give me the cheapest tires for the size Im giving them, 205/55/16. But could I be getting even cheaper tires, because of a different possible size? Hmmmm..... Thanks.

I'm not sure where you are looking but when I go to The Tire Rack, they have a few tires in stock size. I got my new Yokohama AVS ES100 from them, at $77 per tire, they are great. Love them so far.
weasle745: and then to top it off, im not even an attractive guy. I look like Millhouse from the Simpsons, cant put on weight if my life depended on it, etc

I guess you can try going lower profile or wider...not sure if it'll be any cheeper. Imo...don't buy cheepo tires.... you'll find yourself spinning out on the freeway after a blowout.
why don't you buy some stock 14 inch rims/steel wheels....those are pretty damn cheep
