I'm really mad right now. I just got back from lowering my car. Let me tell you the story. It only took me like 20 minutes to get the spring/strut out of the right front wheel. After it was out, i put in my camber kits, which were easy. Then i cut the bumpstop, and swapped everything over to the new struts, and began to compress the Sportline spring to fit over my new strut. For some unexplained reason, it took my dad and I about an hour to get it to go together. First off we coulnd't get enough thread showing on the strut piston to get a nut on it, then the spring compressors got stuck in the springs. Finally, we got it done and went to put it in the car. Guess what, i had the strut in backwards, so the bottom bolt wouldn't go through. We took it out and fiddled with it and got it straight. We got it all in, put the wheel back on, and started lowering the car off the jack, CRACK! I look under the fender and the upper A arm is making contact with the body. Whoo hoo! I'm having real fun now as it seems my camber kit is adjusted for TOO much positive camber. So now we have to back it out some, but surpirse surprise, we don't have a skinny enough wrench to reach the bolt. So my car sits on the jacks, no where near being done, over night. I have work tomorrow afternoon, so i guess i'll try in the morning some more. I'll be happy if tomorrow i can just get the fronts done. I know the backs are supposed to be easier, but if i have as much trouble with the backs as the fronts, call me dead and throw me in the river. That's all for now.

Camber kit's don't come adjusted and MUST ALWAYS be adjusted at an alignment shop RIGHT after the install because it's not always the camber, it's also the toe adjustment that's important.

When Kris and I swaped my suspension over to his car the camber kits were WAY off even though the suspension was the same.

Good luck bro, take your time and don't get too angry cause that just makes it seem worse.

Trust me, I felt like I was ALWAYS the way I am in this pic and never driving the car.

Bad luck bro!! Yeah what Kyle said, try not to get frustrated when working because nothing will go right then. Just for the record, I just redid my suspension and it only took 2.5 hours with no air tools emoji I still do stupid crap though, I put two strut assemblies together backwards too and had to redo them. Good luck tomorrow!

Well, today i got both front wheels finished. I adjusted my camber kits, and got the a-arms to tuck passed the lip where they were catching. Now my problem is that they are still too far out, and are bottoming out under my fender. The odd thing is is that i have my camber set as negative as the kit will let it get, and the upper a-arm is still contacting the body. I think this is because the bolts that the camber kits replace are straight, the new bolts have a 45 degree bend in them, that point out toward the tires. This means that without even adjusting the cam in the bolt, which allows the + or - camber adjustment, you automatically start out with some positive camber. I know that's kind of confusing. So tomorrow i'm going to take out the camber kits and put back the stock anchor bolts, and see if that makes it work. Now, to anyone that has the Sportline springs, when you turn the steering wheel, does it feel like the car turns more than what the steering wheel meant for it to turn? When i test drove it, it felt like the steering was alot more loose. That's it for now, tomorrow i'm going swap out the camber bolts with the stocks ones, if that works, then i'll move on to the back tires, which i hope i won't have a problem with. I'll let you know how it goes.

It may seem like the car is turning more but that is because the car is more responsive. Its just something you have to get used to, its like learning to drive again.
