This guy is selling Eibach sportline springs that are 2 years old for 75$, he said they are already seated (broken in). What do you think, should I just get new ones for the extra $100 or do you think they would be ok? thanks for the help

Eibachs are not suppose to sag. Now if you were talking about sprint or intrax or something I wouldn't get them. Eibach, H&R, and Ive been hearing good things about Goldline springs about sagging.

I got mine used. Don't know how old they are. But they work pretty fine.

my sportlines started sagging like hell. pro kits have been fine tho.

I've always heard that sportlines sag and just aren't stiff enough to support the low drop they produce. (as in, bottoming out alot after hitting bumps)

for $75, save up $50 more and get those new gold lines. They are 2" drop and a no-sag guarantee. My sportlines were pretty bad. I hated them. Pro kit's a lot better. Better feel, etc. worth the extra money to buy a better set of new springs tho.

I went ahead and bought the eibach pro-kit springs for $179+$25 for shipping. Now, should I also get new struts? I was thinking of the kyb's gr2 struts? any opinions? thanks

Get struts now, or get them later. If you are lowered you will blow your stock struts. I have the Tokico blues and they are nice, anything aftermarket is better than stock.

I can tell you first hand you have to get new struts. I didnt and within a week mine blew. I then mad ethe mistake of replacing them with non-performance struts but rather normal oem monroe struts. Those blew quickly. Change your struts with performance struts. Some guy on another thread told me at tirerack.com theres kyb's for $45 each. ANyone else feel these are good struts for lasting-ness, not necessarily performance. Thanks

I was also thinking of getting the tokico blue struts. Those are the non-adjustable struts that are around 68$ a piece, right?

Yes Im almost sure the tokicos are $68 at....... Nopi.com? That might be where I saw them. Thats what Ive decided to go on also. Should've done it in the first place, the owm monroe's were $66 and blew fast. Oh well, a lesson learned.
