#14032, "hurrican rear tie bar assistance thread"

ya, so i received and installed the bars last night... the front went on really easy (thanks glen for the instructions/spacer/locking washer)

the front bolts are 14mm, and glenns replacement bolt is 17mm...

the rear bolts are 17mm..

the rear is a lot harder than the front, since the bolts are angled outward, and the bar doesnt look like it will fit/lin up..

you have to place it all the way on one bolt, and then knock the other bolt so that it is flush w/the mounting spot, then place the bar over the bolt hole (so the hole on the bar lines up w/the bolt hole) and then knock the bolt back thru the hole slippin it thru the hole on the bar. then slap the nuts back on, and torque em to 65ft. lbs.

thanks so much glenn, when i turn, i get hardly any body roll.... as compared to before when i would have to lean w/the car since the body rolled up and down while turning.

the funny new noise sounds like the car is fallin apart, but its just the bar scrapin/bangin against the ground emoji

she corners like a champ tho!!!!

hehe, i had to report, i was crackin up when the peeps at the bus stop started pointin at my car......

about 3 inches, but my front tires are lo pros, so the front end is about 2.5" off the ground..... hence the scrapes on my downpipe, dents in my oil pan, etc........................

and now a cuple scrapes on my new front tie bar....

I will try to post some pics of my first one after the R&D. It has MAJOR scrapes in it. emoji
