That's not right you should torque every nut and bolt on your car if possible. YOu never know how hard you actually tigtening it. You can warp your rotors or whatever if you improperly torque your lugs. What if you overtorque it eh? You'd have this look on your face O_O when you snap your stud off when you decide take that wheel off. I suggest you invest in a decent torque wrench I got a big clicking type for 20 bux at Pepboys. Haha when you autox and change wheels as much as me you learn a few things.
I torque my lugs at 80 ft/lbs. That's like the universal for most cars.

for a 5lug car 80lbs is spec 100lbs for 4 lugs trucks are different story, alwasy torque wheel lugs u can over torwue bust your studs thats a pain and what if your not getting them tight enough your wheel wobbles off? dont want that
