I Just got my new wheel its 5zigen FN01R, its 17x7.5 with 215x45x17 tire, and its weight (both tire & wheel) about 38-39 lbs each, is that heavy or not?

I would say that they are. what is the weight of just the rim? My 18" rims weigh 22lbs (not including the tire) But I cant imagine the tire weighing 17lbs. Oh well!

light weigh wheels range around 6.5-9lbs each for 14-16" tires usually aren't the heavy part of it... tires are usually 10lbs and under for thes applications...
(i work ata tire store) so year your wheels are heavy like mine =)

weighed my 18's with tire 44 lbs. the 16's were 35 lbs. with tire. right now i got my 16's on for winter and i can actually feel a big difference when i get on it.

dpends on tread style and speed rating z rated or y rated are going to heavier due to thicker sidewall
