Well First of all I have a 1997 RS and this is my suspension mod list
Nuespeed Sport Springs Tokico Illuminas Added Stock rear swaybar Front Upper strut bar Baer Track Brakes w/ optional slotted and cross drilled rotors Rear Disc conversion w/ slotted and cross drilled rotors Rear Upper strut bar 17" GSX Rims (which I plan to keep for a while, id rather spend the money going faster in a straight line) Goodyear Eagle RSA's Im also waiting on some front and rear lower strut bars from Glenn, hopefully they will be here soon.
What else can I do to increase my handling prowess? I know I need some better tires, but what else is there?

roll bar to stiffen things up more maybe? not sure if you really can consider that suspension oriented since it's not gonna be a tube chassis with built in suspension, but it would stiffen the car up more to reduce roll in turns, etc.

Well Toney there is one thing that people dont always do and that will improve the hell out of your suspension. Get the Energy Suspension Bushing kit!!!! Also larger sway bars....you already know about the better tires. Also lighter wheels will help.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!!....PROPER ALIGNMENT SETTINGS!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, Joe, my alignment is pretty much fucked now, but hopefully Doug will be able to help me out with that before this weekend. I didnt think about the bushings, but Im sure that they will help too. Well with all that being said, I guess Im just gonna wait and get the bushings after I turbo the car.

prothanes bushing kit is much stiffer then the es bushing kit would be a better upgrade... getting in ont asog neuspeed strut bar would help...
better tires, weight reduction,
u could get a fiberglass hatch or carbon fiber one that i sell drop 50lbs or so =)
i second the lighter wheels too
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

i dont wanna do that floor bar, i dont see that working too well. As far as the nuespeed bar, I had it and it wouldnt fit with my jeep TB so I have to sell it.
