#13261, "LOUD annoying squeaking when rolling and stopping...also grinding when braking"

I took all four wheels off and checked pads... all had 1/2 - 3/4 of the pad remaining still, so I don't know what it could be...

Oh yeah, when I stop it doesn't seem like the brakes are sticking when I depress the pedal err... Kind of like it only uses 75% of it's stopping power, instead of the usual 100%....

The loud squeaking/squealing noises occur a lot when stopping, but most of the time when just driving normally.

Anyone have any clue about this, cuz I don't. (could possibly be fluids? i just checked them and i thought they were normal...i think)

TIA!

sounds like some glazed rotors. if u look at your rotors and u can see ur reflection then they are glazed. you probabley used some cheap aftermarket pads. first try holding the brake pedal down slowly down as you hit the gas pedal. keep both pedals depressed so your actually moving the car slowly with the brakes engaged. increase the RPM's while holding the brake down more and more. do this for a good minute or two. this should in most cases "burn off" the glaze. but if it still squeals then your gonna have to end up paying o machine the rotors, and possibly buy some better quality pads.
