Well I've had my Shunk2 Coilovers & strut bar 4 a while now still waiting 4 enough $$$ 2 get some Koni Yellows shocks/struts... here's the Q:

Is it possible/safe 2 just undo the 3 bolts on the top of the front strut towers & put the strut bar on?

I understand what's on the otherside & all, just want 2 make sure... I was going 2 do it all @ once (not an issue then), but now it looks like it'll B Christmas @ the earliest 4 the new struts. Just getting ancy (sp?).

Thanx,
- J

I had no problems with mine and haven't heard that anyone else did either.

Yeah it safe. Just remember to take your time and install one strut plate at a time. Torque to specs etc.... than install your bar last.

Thanx 4 the info, I just finished putting it on not 2 long ago & it's great. I know some say that they don't make that much of a difference, but wow... U can really tell on a hard turn. Now if I could just get my Konis emoji

Thanx,

I'm just wondering if it makes a difference if you install the plates one at a time and then the bar, because when I installed mine I left the bar attached to the two plates. I got mine off ebay and there were no instructions or anything...Did i mess up or is this ok? Thanks...

No you didn't mess anything up. Some strut bars are one piece, so it doesn't matter how you do it.
