#13053, "Question about the recall"

ok, i have a 98 eclipse GS and bought my car last year, when i bought it they told me they repaired and took care of the ball joints, now 1 year later after i'm out of warrant by 1000 miles satan tells me my lower control arms are bad (both) i feel its because they did a bang up job on the ball joints . I asked my dealer about it and they said i'm out of luck( no warranty- no free) so i called mitsu of america and told me they would fax the case to the dealership and the dealership will get back to me. So i'm pretty sure the dealer is gonna say that i'm out of luck again, is there anyway i can be compensated for this? I cant pay the repair because i'm still paying for the car. Also if satan tells me to goto hell can i take it up with mitu of america again and how could i approach it this time..
thanks

The ball joint recall is free. It must be done by the dealer, if they dont, call mitsu again and tell them the dealer is still refusing to fix your shit. If they still dont fix it, get a lawyer.

They "told" you that they did the ball-joint recall? I would get it in writing. If they never did, get it done. The dealer has to do it.

its no big deal, well actually it is, just take it to a mitsu dealer.
have them run the vin to see if it the joints were changed. btw if the previous owner had it taken care of they should have paper work.
